So I am at the two month mark (about) that I have been in Africa, yay! However I definitely feel like I have hit a wall. I am past the part of, "woohoo, this is fun and everything is new!" to more of now my mind is rolling with LOTS of questions as to what the future holds, what should I do with the time I have here and if what I am doing is "enough". This sounds jumbled but don't be afraid or worried that I'm not ok. Because I know this is just a season, apart of being away and the challenge that God has for me. It's all very good, but hard.
So.....today was a very joy filled, bittersweet day because two of our members are headed back to the states:( But I helped in the baby room today and every time I do I like to make Mento laugh, the sound just makes me smile! So I took a video to share it with you, it WILL put a smile on your face:) Then later I was enjoying some good time with Jose, and then came along Simon and then Logose. You can see in the video they were enjoying a playful ride on my lap. It made me laugh so hard!
What a joy these kids are bringing to my heart, I'm so thankful for technology so I can share it with you!!
We're all Prayin for ya Leah! When you serve the Lord, no matter the amount of love shared, work done, or how much time you have, God is the one that you are sharing and He's INFINITELY more than "enough" :) so know that your ministry doesn't just extend to those awesome kids that love you, but to all those you share these stories with.
